Selected winners of the We Sing Pop! Song contest 2024 will have an opportunity to perform at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall on the dates to be announced.

Leanna Choe, a lively 4-year-old from San Jose, California, fills every space she enters with joy, laughter, and song. She has a special love for Disney classics and always sings her favorite songs with a bright smile. Her cheerful and playful personality brings warmth and happiness to those around her, leaving a lasting impression wherever she goes. This year, Leanna is stepping into a new adventure by entering her first singing competition. She approaches this challenge with the same enthusiasm and energy that she brings to everything she does. With her natural talent and bright spirit, Leanna hopes this experience will bring her joy and create cherished memories. Whether on stage or in everyday life, her vibrant energy continues to inspire and delight, making her journey something truly special. |

Gabriele Butkaliuk recorded first song and went on stage, when she 2 years old. After two years, she always singing National Anthem before a basketball and football games by Basketball and Football Federation invitations. From 5 years old, she is participating in TV Projects, Shows. After success Gabriele is often singing in Lithuanian Parliament, TV Shows, Lithuanian Embassies abroad. She is also dancing ballet in Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre. Have roles in P. Tchaikovsky’s ballet “The Nutcracker”, „Don Quixote”, „Candy fairies”. 2023 and 2024 years for Gabriele was very successful in the context of international singing competitions, such as „Greece’s hope 2024” (Greece) – Grand Prix in Musical category; „Summer Talent League” (Spain) – Junior Grand Prix; „Golden Voice Malta” (Malta) – 2nd place; „Baltic Voice” (Lithuania) – 1st place; „Palanga talent league” (Lithuania) – Golden Junior Grand Prix; “Tris Zvaigznes” (Latvia) – 1st place and Grand Prix, and also received the 3-Star Award and other… |
Benjamin Zhang is a 12-year-old student with a keen interest in music and sports. He is an active member of his school choir and has performed at several notable events, including the Organization of American Kodály Educators (OAKE) conference and Lunar New Year celebrations. Benjamin has achieved recognition in vocal competitions, such as placing 1st in the Apec Music Competition and 2nd in the Spring Festival Gala. In addition to his musical talents, he excels in tennis and baseball, where he is being considered for the starting pitcher role. Benjamin also has a strong interest in airplanes, reflecting his diverse range of talents and interests. |

Jolie Cleo Chow, born in 2011, attends Hong Kong International School. Growing up in a family of musicians, she has been singing and making recordings ever since she could talk. She sings so much that her schoolmates that do not know her name call her the ‘Singing Girl.’ Jolie performs whenever and wherever she can– at school, for charity, for competition, and for mini-concerts. She only hopes that the rest of the world can hear her voice and come to love her music as much as she does. |
Ushnish Chatterjee, a 13-year-old middle schooler at the Harker School in San Jose, California, is passionate about singing, acting, and filmmaking. He began singing at three, learning Bengali songs from his mother, and now performs in five languages: English, Spanish, Korean, French, and Bengali. Ushnish has absolute pitch, enabling him to identify or produce any note with accuracy. He often harmonizes his songs, a skill he learned from his father. He has covered artists like the Beatles, Elvis Presley, Celine Dion, Tagore, and Korean singer IU. He posts his songs, and movies, in his YouTube channel regularly. Ushnish has performed at festivals, school talent shows, and multicultural programs. He enjoys academics, with a passion for languages and sciences. Recently, his performance at a senior living facility in the San Francisco Bay Area was well-received. Their appreciation motivates him to continue expanding his repertoire and deliver emotionally resonant musical performances.

Nivedita Josy is a remarkable 16-year-old singer, with a soulful alto voice and a love for both pop and jazz. Nivi draws inspiration from artists like Whitney Houston, and Celine Dion. While she has been singing for the past 11 years, this is her first competition, and she is excited to bring her vocal maturity to a new stage. Nivi is a member of the National Children’s Chorus and her school choir. She has performed at various prestigious national and international venues, including Carnegie Hall, and the Oslo Opera House. Recently, she recorded an album with the NCC at the iconic Abbey Road Studios — a dream experience that further fueled her passion for music. Her dedication to her craft, and her background in performing with renowned ensembles worldwide, promises an exciting future for this young artist as she shares her love for music and her own voice with the world. |

Winners Concert Information

- Selected Winners will perform one song on stage as selected by the judges from the applicant’s audition repertoire.
- Performance time limit for all ages and repertoire categories is 4 (four) minutes.
- Performance repertoire changes will not be accepted.
- Judges will give no feedback on the applicants’ performances.
- Participants must bring their own piano accompanist.
- American Protégé does not provide piano accompanist, but can recommend one after enrollment into the program.
- Taking of photos and video recording is strictly prohibited at Carnegie Hall and backstage at all the times. Unauthorized photographs, video, or other recordings may be deleted at Carnegie Hall management’s discretion.
- All participants are responsible for their own expenses (travel, housing accommodations, etc.).
- Tickets will be available at the Carnegie Hall website two months prior to the event.
- Detailed Concert information will be provided to the participants via email.
For the Concert at Weill Recital Hall (250 seats):
Sound system or microphones are not available at the Weill Recital Hall.
Total Recital and Photo Fee for Solo Participants will be determined in February of 2025.
Piano Accompanist’s service is not included into the Performer’s Concert Fee. Registered piano accompanist is Mrs. Kyoung Im Kim https://kyoung.im/. Please contact her directly for any arrangements. Limited number of performers can be assisted.
