We Sing Pop! Song Contest 2022 Results

Selected winners of the We Sing Pop! Song contest 2022 will have an opportunity to perform at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall on the dates to be announced.

Lisa Pan is a passionate performer and a SAG-AFTRA actress, singer, voiceover artist, and model; represented by Paloma Model and Talent Agency. She has been casted in many TV shows, commercials, and modeling jobs. She played role of Jessica in Apple TV+’s Life By Ella (2022), casted as a singer in Disney’s Just Roll With It (2019), etc. She was also in commercials for companies like Panda Express, EBay (EBay Motors), Mattel, etc. Lisa played Leah and Minji in Season 3 of the cartoon TV show “Superwings.” She was a part of the Kidz Bop Final Callback in 2020, and made it to the final top 2 at the JYP x Republic Records callbacks for a new reality TV show, America2Korea (A2K). Lisa has won many competitions, such as 1st place in Coronado’s Got Talent in 2020, and San Diego’s Got Talent in 2019; 2nd place in the 2018 International Grande Music Competition, and the American Protege in 2018.

Punyisa Deng Boonpadung (everybody calls her by nickname Proud) is a 9-year-olds girl who lives in Thailand. She remembers her first gift since she was at a very young age – a small green karaoke machine for baby. It had a microphone and music coming from it. Proud would listen to it and sing to the music every day. She remembers, she loved the sound of it so much and she thinks that is how her passion for singing starts. When Proud was 5 years old, she started to ask her mom if she could learn singing when she walked pass singing school but Proud got a chance to really learn to sing when she was 7 years old and she loves everything about it. Proud joined this competition because she wants to prove to herself that she could sing and that her passion could also lead her to something great.

Evolette Alexandra Quineldy is a 9 year-old from Indonesia who loves singing, acting, modeling and performance in general. Evolette started singing since she was 3 year-olds and has been taking formal vocal class since 6 year-olds. Since then she has been participated at a variety of performance in the public and competing in both local and international vocal competition. She won a gold medal at World Championship of Performing Art 2022 at Anaheim California in Junior vocal category. Recently she has won 2nd prize at The Voice of Asia 2022 junior 7-12 year-olds (online Compete) held at Selangor Malaysia.

Huanyu (Anna) Yang is a tenth-grade student at Sage Hill School, Orange County, California. Anna loves to sing. She often performs in her school musicals and sings at the church. In 2020 she entered the We Sing Pop song contest and won an honorable mention award. Anna is a huge Taylor Swift fan. She can’t stop singing Taylor’s songs and she is inspired by Taylor’s stories. Besides singing, Anna also loves dancing. She’s been taking dance classes since five years old and she won several awards in competitions such as Showstopper and KAR. She is on her school dance team and performs at school events. Anna’s greatest passion is fashion design. When she was fourteen, she started her own online store. She designs the clothes offered at her site. Her dream is to have her own fashion brand, to advocate sustainable fashion and to make a good impact on the fashion world. |
Lilianna Rindal is a 13 year old singer and songwriter from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She started singing at the age of 6 while also taking piano, guitar and music theory lessons. She has been experimenting with the different genres of music including Broadway style, classical and pop. She is the winner and a finalist of several local, city and county talent shows in Minnesota. In 2022, she performed as a semi-finalist at the Minnesota State Fair. She was also a finalist of Minnesota Sings contest in October 2022. |

Marina Prikis is a 19-year-old pop/soul singer-songwriter and classically trained pianist based in Vermont, currently attending Middlebury College. She grew up in Nicosia, Cyprus and is Greek-Cypriot and Hungarian. At the age of 17, Marina decided to take it all to the next level by publishing her song “take me to the lakeside” and building an online presence. Since then, she has continued sharing her music in so many ways, from recording and publishing more original songs and covers, to performing with The New York Songwriters Circle, at the Mash-Ville Songwriting Competition, and at venues such as The Bitter End, the Nuyorican Poets Cafe and Radio Bean. Additionally, in March 2022, Marina was selected as a semi-finalist in the 2021 International Songwriting Competition, and her music has appeared on the Vermont Public Radio Show Safe & Sound, as well as on The Radiator by Big Heavy World. |

Winners Concert Information

- Selected Winners will perform one song on stage as selected by the judges from the applicant’s audition repertoire.
- Performance time limit for all ages and repertoire categories is 4 (four) minutes.
- Performance repertoire changes will not be accepted.
- Judges will give no feedback on the applicants’ performances.
- Participants must bring their own piano accompanist.
- American Protégé does not provide piano accompanist, but can recommend one after enrollment into the program.
- Taking of photos and video recording is strictly prohibited at Carnegie Hall and backstage at all the times. Unauthorized photographs, video, or other recordings may be deleted at Carnegie Hall management’s discretion.
- All participants are responsible for their own expenses (travel, housing accommodations, etc.).
- Tickets will be available at the Carnegie Hall website two months prior to the event.
- Detailed Concert information will be provided to the participants via email.
For the Concert at Weill Recital Hall (250 seats):
Sound system or microphones are not available at the Weill Recital Hall.
Total Recital and Photo Fee for Solo Participants will be determined in February of 2023.
Piano Accompanist’s service is not included into the Performer’s Concert Fee. Registered piano accompanist is Mrs. Kyoung Im Kim https://kyoung.im/. Please contact her directly for any arrangements. Limited number of performers can be assisted.
